I overthink things, even jokes. Jokes like "Griffith did nothing wrong" are clearly ironic. That one is ironic right?
See here, Griffith was given a decision to make: do something right or
do something wrong. He chose to do something wrong. No condition or
affliction can take away the responsibility of his own decision from him
unless his autonomy was invalid, in which case this decision would be a
farce and your premise would be technically correct. However, in spite
of the oppressing nature and presence of fate in the setting of Berserk,
this decision was not a farce because Griffith has valid autonomy.
Griffith did something wrong.
